Abortion Abortion is one of the most controversial issues of our day. People generally have strong views about abortion. It is an issue about life and death. Abortion draws out two different worldviews. The human world view, which says, You do whatever you want. Its your own choice not anyone else. In addition, the religious world, which I believe, says, ?God forbids us to murder, and knows that it?s a mortal sin.? I believe that the real reason that we see so many people wanting the availability of abortion goes even deeper than the issue of abortion: I believe that people want sexual freedom without consequences. Our culture has a definite agenda supporting any and all sexual expression. It is very hard to find a new†¦show more content†¦Given the sexually charged atmosphere in which we live, it is not surprising that so many people are having sex outside of marriage and getting pregnant. Abortion is treated like an eraser; people see it as a way to try to get rid of the consequences that happens after sexual activity. Of course, there are always exceptions. Pregnancies do occur as a result of rape. Some women get pregnant because of someone elses sexual drive. However, does that make it right to kill the baby that has been conceived? After having an abortion, many women feel a sense of relief at having avoided the stress and responsibility of pregnancy and a baby. On the other hand, abortions eventually cause serious emotional damage in millions of women. The death of a child is, I believe, one of the biggest things a person can experience in life. Depending on how stressed a woman is, PAS, post abortion syndrome, can show up within weeks or months after a abortion, or she can have a delayed reaction to it, some times up to seven or eight years later. Women experiencing post-abortion syndrome generally feel a confusing and overwhelming sense of guilt. One study reported that 92 percent of women who have had an abortion feel guilt. For many women, the guilt and shame is expressed through a deep anger which is showed towards the doctors and abortion counselors for hurting her and her baby. Teams are formed by family and their kids, we help them carve their pumpkin into any character or picture of their choice. To make it fun we give out prices for the winning pumpkin. The children get so involved and become competitive that the competition gets quite interesting. The losers end up cleaning the mess left over from the carving process it became more popular with the kids as they grow older. The competition became more serious. But at the end of the contest everyone goes home with a great carved pumpkins. My third favorite family get together with the New Year’s day. Our family celebrates not only for the upcoming new year But also for the year that ends. The children play throughout the night and the adults just relax, Conversation; Making it seem like we rarely see each other throughout the year. My family only consists of my immediate family. Making it more meaningful, private, and warming. The countdown to the new year is by far the best. We get in spirit, putting on hats, glasses, beads of the upcoming new year numbers.
